Our darling boy, we miss you so so much, but we are so honored and blessed to have had the opportunity to love you. Sleep well baby boy.
It with very, very heavy hearts that we are now able to update our friends and followers with the news that little Lithemba passed away in his sleep on sunday morning.
He lived out his last month with us at HOLAH after being removed from a homeless shelter where he was abandoned by his desperate mother. We fought to protect this little boy and have him placed in our care. Our team of carers and founders are broken hearted but grateful to have had the precious time we did with him, full of tummy tickles and giggles although inbetween many doctors visits.
We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those that donated breastmilk for this little champion to help build his immune system.
Lithemba will be buried as soon as we have secured the best possible burial plot for him, and we invite any friends of HOLAH to come and pay their respects to this special little life lived with such bravery and courage. We will update everyone on these details as soon as we have them.
